Elokenz Updates – Early September

Our blog has been a bit quiet for a while. Indeed, the Elokenz team has been mostly interviewing users, sending beta invitations, adding new features and improving our current software.

In the last 7 days we have added many features requested by our beta testers. If you used Elokenz a month earlier, you might not even recognize it today.

We’ve decided to do a quick recap of the recent changes, and show you some screenshots about the new features and interface.

If you don’t already have an access to Elokenz beta, you can sign up to our waiting list to get an invitation when we release the next batch. At the moment, the waiting time is typically a bit more than 30 days.

Editable messages

Yes, you read it ! You can now edit your Reposts’ messages. It was impossible before but it is now possible. However, keep in mind that if you do so, you will erase the stats associated to a given message.

Status of your Repost

Many users told me that their first experience with Repost was a bit tricky. They didn’t know if they had finished the configuration of their first Repost.  We have decided, for the moment, to add a “status bar” on a Repost detail page. This allows you to have a clear view of the Repost state.

A Repost can be in 3 states :

  • Enabled
  • Disabled
  • Expired

Also, for every Repost, you need to configure one or several Messages. So, even if you have an enabled Repost, if it doesn’t have any active message, your Repost will never be published. The status bar will help you to understand that.

Merging Tabs in the Repost List view

We have merged tabs in the Repost List view. We will soon implement sortable columns, so that you can order your Reposts by click count or energy, or title, you name it.

More spinners

We have added some spinners to show you when the application is working. Earlier it was not obvious to know if a click was doing something. For instance, when you switched social accounts ON and OFF on a message, it was really not easy to understand that something was working under the hood.

That’s all for this post, but we have a big feature that has almost been shipped : it’s the import of your articles via a RSS feed. This will be posted in a future blog post.

Don’t hesitate if you have any questions. Comments are welcomed.
